Also, I forgot their names already, but your taste testers were awesome. I could tell they were really authentic and beautiful beings.

I love the impossible burger! Although I really like the beyond burger too!

I just picked up four packs of beyond burgers and one of sausage.$3.00 coupon on their website till 3-19. I also tried the impossibe burger today.paid a hell of alot.$14.00 and a side order of just a few fries.an overpriced place to eat and I was the only customer. I wont go back there again. The impossible definately tasted exactly to what I remember a whopper tasting like. I had to eat it at two separate times.it was pretty big and like a whopper it would hurt my stomach if I ate the entire thing. The beyond burger is smaller and I tried the once at yucky carl juniors. It was not cooked all the way and it was greasy. Not sure why.when I cook them they taste better. Carl Junior can fuck up any food Im convinced of.

I have had many Beyond meat burgers and I always come away feeling like I am having a meat substitute. The first time I had an impossible burger is the first time I felt like I was eating a burger again since I swore off meat 2 years ago. I was thrilled to hear that Impossible is coming to Burger King!

I prefer the Impossible Burger over the Beyond Burger because the latter has a bit of a smokey taste that I didn't enjoy. I'm not a fan of smokey foods/flavors.

I tried both burgers at different restaurants and to me the beyond burger won by a landslide. I was seriously taken aback at how smoky and juicy it was. Made me feel like I was eating the real deal. I love burgers and really miss them, so I’m going to be buying beyond burger to get my fix when I’m in the mood for one.

Beyond can offer one version without the blood. I think it is their iron taste which smell like spam to some ppl.
P Davis 21 days ago
Had the Beyond Burger hated its smell and taste of dog food. As a vegan I’ve never tasted such an awful tasting burger. 👋
Joe Arvallo 22 days ago
all the ingredients in this vegan burger is made out of starch.
UniqueBeautie 22 days ago
They both are delicious. I noticed the Beyond nurger is a little crunchy. I'm not a big fan of that. The impossible is a more meaty juicy texture to me. I love that better. And I got it from the Slutty Vegan restaurant in Atl. They are open 4pm-12 or 1am. But be prepared for the extremely long lines. Bring a chair if u have back pain. 😆💖💖💯💯

Just tried my first fake burger.Beyond. Taste was ok. Didn't taste like real meat, but the flavor isn't something I'd be surprised to get at a cheap diner. As for the texture, it seemed identical to real meat. The REAL question is whether or not these lab created meats are actually good for you. Oh, and I don't like the fact that there's 450mg of salt/MSG in it. Guess they need to make up for the lack of flavor. Bottom line: I'd eat one once in a while, having given up red meat almost entirely.

Carl's Jr. Sells the Beyond Burger, I bought one, it was $1 more than the Hamburger, and I noticed that the Beyond Burger was done on one side but not on the other side. Now it looked like a slow time period, just b4 the lunch Rush, so I can't explain why it was under done? I was good, but for me it tasted bland, that might be because it was underdone, I'm not sure? I would buy another, if given the chance. I think I'd prefer trying it at home first.
Wade McLure 27 days ago
Impossible Burger is better hands down. I've tried both now, home cooked Beyond burger (tasted. not horrible, awful smell tho), and had a Beyond Burger at Carl's Jr (was ok), but I just had the Impossible Burger from Red Robin. WAS SO FREAKIN GOOD! I was blown away how good it tasted. For the record I'm not a vegan cuz I love meat, but would give it all up in a heartbeat if they could make tasty replacements for all types of meat.
madmex123 1 month ago
seems you overcooked the impossible burger. I had one the other day and it was more on the medium rare. Couldn't tell the difference between that and real meat. If I didn't know I was eating a vegan burger i wouldn't have known.

Impossible Burger for me. I had one at Plank in Oakland that was prepared perfectly. It has the smell and texture of a burger! The Beyond Burger has a slight after taste and an almost artificial smell that lets you know that you're not eating meat.
Cap_1 Stuperman 28 days ago
+Aquarian Love LOL I have to agree with you on that. Uncooked, fresh out of the package there is definitely an odor to them.

The beyond burger stinks.
Jeremy Cline 1 month ago
Sounds like the test may have been skewed by the burger being well-done.would have been better to cook another one, medium.

Both are great but to me it's very clear that Impossible is more like real beef but again both are good just in different ways. Once Impossible hits the grocery stores it will likely take over vs Beyond.

We have tried the beyond burger, have not had the opportunity to try the impossible burger yet.have to say, beyond burger is a huge treat in our household (2 years vegan now, later in life..) we LOVE the beyond burgers and are so thankful that we can even get them, and are willing to pay the price, and when we see them, we stock our freezer with them, especially with summer on it's way.thank you for the awesome video.:)

I like that you had meat eaters try these. I think I must be the only person who did not like the beyond meat burger. It had a funny taste and aftertaste that lasted ages and having eater meat burgers it takes nothing like a meat burger to me. I would love to try the impossible burger but it isn't here in Australia yet.

Too bad they totally overcook The Impossible Burger did not do it justice. It contains Steam and it bleeds when you cook it and if you don't overcook it it is still red in the middle. Same as the beet juice makes the Beyond Burger look red FYI. Bottom line is test is void!

Today is March 6, 2019. Impossible Foods has RUINED a great-tasting vegan burger with the Impossible Burger 2.0. The 2.0 version is soy-based, whereas the Impossible Burger 1.0 was wheat-based. The 2.0 version is OK.but it tastes no different than the store-bought vegan Boca Burger, which is 1/10th the cost. Those who agree should contact Impossible Foods, as I did, to let them know of your displeasure.
Joseph Upton 12 days ago

Beyond meat has frozen ground versions that work well for both. I use it in my breakfast burrito's as it gives them great flavor. Their spicy Italian sausage is great too.

ms3er 12 days ago
+Joseph Upton no reason to lie. if you truly think that one can't be healthy and maintain a great physical look being vegan than you need to look around at the research and healthy ones out there. Plenty of them. On YT just look up Simnett Nutrition. He's a great guy who has an awesome channel and is into Calisthenics just like me.

+ms3er Youre lying to me if you think you can stay healthy in body fat and everything else while being vegan, most of you do lie becuase of the cult so i have to just let you starve while i get stronger on animal products and cholersterol.

+Joseph Upton not necessarily and eating properly as I do. In fact I just went to the gym today and clocked in a 175.6 lbs and pretty much the same body fat. I don't intend to intentionally try and go down to say 10% or lower either.

I’m trying to understand why some of y’all just can’t understand the simplicity of the fact that not everyone was born vegan and some people miss meat and cheese. So why not make something that taste like it as long as it helps them transition?

All dying and craving to eat natural meat.lol.
Aishah Bango 8 months ago
I think it’s really self righteous for people who don’t eat meat because it tastes so much like the real thing to shame people who enjoy it. I went vegetarian at 9. That was 16 years ago and my options were limited. I went vegan 10 years ago and really had no options at all. Really excited at how creative they have become. As long as the nutrition is still there I have no qualms with it and I love the fact that this makes transitioning so much easier.

I have had the Impossible Burger 🍔 that wasn’t over cooked and enjoyed it very much. It was cooked on a skillet at a restaurant. Beyond Burger I cooked from a frozen pattie wasn’t as tasty to me. YouTube recommended your video and I just subscribed to your channel. It would of been helpful to know how you prepared the burgers.

You should have lined it up like “See if you can guess which one is real meat”, and then afterwards be like “Surprise! They’re both vegan 😊.”
gCuezy 8 months ago
In my experience the Impossible Burger is better but it's tough because you have to get it at a restaurant. Often people with a lot of vegan restaurant options say that it depends entirely on the preparation (you have to cook it for a short time or something). Beyond & Impossible burgers are way better than anything I've ever made for myself in the (pre-vegan) past though.

Lifestyle changes: no smoking, no alcohol, unrefined vegan diet with vitamin B12 supplement, exercise about 3x a day, about 7 hours of sleep. Eliminate 0 fiber foods like refined substances such as oil, vegan fake mayo, vegan fake sour cream, vegan fake cheese, coconut milk, vegan fake milk, vegan fake yogurt, vegan fake ice cream, sweeteners, juice, refined flour, vegan fake meat, protein powder, tofu, seitan, salt, alcohol, caffeine, most supplements. Vegans do need vitamin B12 supplement. Can get vitamin D from sunshine. Vegans might need vitamin D supplement, EPA/DHA omega 3 supplement. For extra fiber, can use psyllium seed powder, psyllium husk powder, guar gum powder. For extra B vitamins, can use debittered brewer's yeast (by product from making beer). All animal products have 0 fiber. Eliminate Poultry, Fish, Meat, Eggs, Dairy Products. For liquids, can filter tap water. Chew food instead of drinking calories via the blender. Avoid nut butters, seed butters like tahini. Fiber works better with more water, so cook soup, cereal, congee. If like hibiscus tea, just throw hibiscus flowers into soup, cereal, congee.

If you cherry pick, you will be able to prove anything including flat earth, no evolution, no global warming, human extinction in less than 5 years, drinking oil leads to long life, eating butter leads to long life, etc.
colonyofcells iamamachine 8 months ago
Based on longevity blue zones, high intensity exercise might not be needed for longevity but daily exercise of one type or another seems to help.
colonyofcells iamamachine 8 months ago
WHO has the minimum protein requirements (about.8 gram per kg) and minimum fat requirements that people should follow. I heard at a minimum, fats should make up 15% of most adult diets, women of reproductive age need at least 20%, according to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. WHO recommends max 30% fat. Better to go with mainstream science consensus than cherry picking. As for carb fuel and fat fuel, how much fuel people need depends on the amount of exercise of each person. America recommends less than 1,500 mg salt per day. For epa/dha omega 3, can eat wild anchovies, wild sardines, maybe 2x a week which seems to be the recommendation of the diet guides of many countries.
Paco A 8 months ago
if you excercise three times a day your intensity is way too low. You should excercise with some intensity or its pretty much pointless. Also americans eat way too much carbs, to little protein and pretty much a good amount of fat on average. look at the science on pubmed and do your own research instead of repeating than vegan propaganda dude
colonyofcells iamamachine 8 months ago
Too much protein is probably the problem in america rather than too little protein. Easy for vegans to get enough protein by soaking overnight and cooking your own beans, peas, lentils. As for exercise, the more the better for most people if they are not obese. Obese people who overexercise could get a heart attack and better to start with some walking for obese people. Dr Michael Greger seems to walk pretty much the whole day in front of his computer.

Frankenstein products made of refined substances (not real food) usually have natural flavor (each natural flavor can be as many as 50 chemicals) and or artificial flavor (each artificial flavor can be as many as 50 chemicals).

Great video. But I would rather eat burgers made out of vegetables, nuts and grains than eat burgers that look and taste like meat because if I want to taste something that tastes like meat I would just choose to eat meat but I have chosen to avoid eating all animal based products because it is healthier for me. I try to focus on whole plants rather than processed foods.

Can we just establish that there is no such thing as a part time vegan. You either live a vegan lifestyle (no animal tested products, no animals used for entertainment, no animals used for clothing etc) or like this person, you eat a part time plant based diet. I wish people would stop watering down what veganism is about - the victims of the largest holocaust in human history - the animals. People work damn hard to rid their lives of cruelty and suffering it's a complete lifestyle change - that is veganism. A lot then go on to become activists in some form or another to help educate others about the horrific things humans do to animals in the name of food, clothing, entertainment and science. Vegans actually work towards ending to this.
