You're funny! :) Too bad I already spent full price on some box highlights - I'm excited to use the knife technique and will try Jolen going forward. Thanks for the tips! I hate those highlighting caps, all my hair gets stuck in those - and foil is hassle doing it by yourself.

Thats terrible. Face bleach will destroy hair. The ammonia level is too high and the result is.not blended and looks cheap and your hair will dry out so fast over the next year due to the harshness of using something that lightens in 10 minutes. The quality is low here and if you want to walk around with 99cent hair then go for it. But I say spend some money and go to a pro colorist. Sad how people who know nothing about this industry think using face bleach and a knife will give you JLO hair. lol But hey everyone watching try this and then you will have to pay the pros extra to fix it after and have fun getting that stuff all over your towels at home. lol next we will so a do it yourself mammogram and GYN checkup. I mean do everything at home cuz you know. People who study and perfect from years of work..they dont matter you can do it yourself because you know more than a pro. lol yep I have to say this is some trailer park type color aka Kelly Clarkson in the 90s type blochy highlights. sexy and cheap awww what every women strives for in life. lol (sarcasm) maybe next do DIY BOTOX!

Thank you! I used to buy regular home hair bleach kits, $15 or so, and use the brushes, and it never quite turned out right. This is so easy, and cheaper!

Isn't jolen for facial hair? 😂 I didn't think it was that strong. Looks great

I did this in the 90s, and my hair broke off. It was a mess, so something went horribly wrong. Won't make the same mistake twice.

Great beauty hack! Perfect for DIY highlights/baby lights on a budget whenever the roots or grey hair starts to show. I will totally try this whenever I bring myself to be brave enough to do my own hair with highlights. Thank you!

Thank you for this! Is there enough in the box to do more than just the one part in the hair? I’m kind of afraid to try it but it costs $200 and four hours for highlights (at SuperCuts , no less) & it looks patchy when they do it! Yours looks great and, as you said, closer to the roots than foils will allow. Maybe just framing the face to rid the dreaded root line might be a good start.

so the bowl, brush and developer you threw over your shoulder is the EXACT SAME THING THAT CAME IN YOUR DOLLAR STORE BLEACH KIT, ONLY SMALLER.what a dope.you don't have to apply with a brush, its there for mixing. you can apply with your freakin finger if you want. EXCELLENT tutorial for those who want the orange stripes in your hair like this guru has. good luck !

Does it help when you have such a greasy hair, does it help to bleach it and make it a bit more dry? I just wonder does it work for you? Because your hair is prone to greasiness.

Look's great ! I use to use Jolen to put a streak in my hair. It work quick. I remember putting that stuff on my face because I had peach fuzz ,I don't think I needed it. It burned the crap out if my face and gave a great sunburn look.

A natural way to do it is to mix regular 3% peroxide you can get at the dollar store, drug or grocery store , mixed with baking soda. Apply to hair, using your fingers, or whatever you choose, cover with a cap or even a grocery bag, let sit for about 20 to 30 minutes, then wash it out. Cheap, easy, and it works! Your hair turned out pretty :)

I'm so going to do this! I'm so tired of spending a ton of money at the salon I go to, and all she is doing is burning my hair off. This seems safer than all over.

New formula for colour 9PB ( old 100) is a DISASTER. Having used the old blonde formula for years with no problem, the new formula, same number, has come out greyish paleBROWN. Its horrible and distressing. Its definitely not blonde. I trusted you!!! Change back to the old formula please.
