It's a shame that the British people voted against a more democratic voting system. That's why we can't vote for who we want - We gave up that idea in 2011

Overspending and lies are cheating the system. That said, the system needs overhauling as well to a proportional voting system

How can it be cheating? For as long as we have a FPTP its required due to the spoiler effect.

The choice is stark if you want to stop a no deal Brexit (the ERG Tories will not agree a free trade deal with the EU, because the EU says if you want free trade with us you have to play by the same rules as us) you have vote to stop the Tories. The only way to do that is to vote tactically. In your constituency you need to check the result of the last General Election and vote for the party that can beat the Tory. If you split the left vote the Tories will win. For confirmation of this all you need to do is check the results going back decades. The left vote has always been larger than the Tory vote, but the Tories have been in power more years than any other party.

HOW is 17.4 Million MORE THAN HALF???????!!!!! The total population of the UK is 66 MILLION, NOT 33 Million, the correct answer is ACTUALLY HALF. Now i know there's probably millions who are under 18 and can't vote but bear in mind last year another 2 million voters registered to vote cuz they couldn't at the time of the original referendum because they were under age. Now is the time to hear what THOSE 2 Million say.
M F 15 days ago
Answer: yes!!!! Ranked choice voting should be the way. The Lib Dem’s only have half the popularity they do because of muppets thinking they’re being clever by voting tactically. Vote for what you believe in

Joseph Handford 16 days ago
The Tories have been corrupt for a long time. The Crewe and Nantwich prospective Parliamentary candidates on a number of occasions were selected by the entire membership of the branch when only the members at the meeting were entitled to vote. Members on salaries such as campaign managers selected because of where they live and their background rather than merit and what they have achieved so this is no surprise to likes of myself.
Keith Bawden 16 days ago
Wake up you silly Brits! Your electoral system has been rigged for years!
Mark Horton 16 days ago
Boardman says the electorate should not be treated like children after 3.5 years, and should have another vote. Astonishing. After leavers have just been told they are stupid naughty voters who voted wrong, and cannot have what they want. They they cannot get out of a foreign organisation they never had any say in joining, or say in who rules over them or who they pay taxes to. How offensively patronising many remainers are.
Max Calo' 16 days ago
The Video is entitled is tactical voting cheating when if fact the question asked during the program is if electoral pacts are cheating, another thing altogether. Shockingly sloppy or something more sinister? Anyway, the answer is no in both cases, apart from exectional circumstances when a party (or a made up one) stands only to favour another one rather than to try to conquer votes for itself, and of course it's even worse if this agreement is denied by the party that is the recipient of the benefit.

If we didn't have FPTP and 2 and bit Party Politics, then people would vote for what they want and believe in, instead of tactically because they were scared of someone getting in so they vote for a slightly less bad or sometimes even worse candidate! In Europe they are used to coalitions and the result being mixed which is the way it should be if the popular vote doesn't have one party as an outright winner. They manage to make it work and act like adults. Britain is too scared of not having a 'conclusive' result. But all you do is betray the electorate and allow successive Governments to run amok for over a decade instead of earning their seats and position as the government every few years.

The woman running for the Brexit party makes some good points about the Conservative's 'bullying' but its all undermined by the fact that she is a member of the Brexit party. The party whose sole purpose in this election is to take votes away from Labour so the Conservatives can win. And she says parties should campaign on policies but the Brexit party has none.
golfinguna 17 days ago
This election is a pathetic joke it will rigged in such a way that we will probably end up with a hung parliament and back to square one. If the people of this country do not get rid of tory and labour this country will slide even further into the cesspit we are in now.

All parties want more immigration.it feels like it doesn’t really matter. The fact that the UK have foreigners as government workers shows a failing nation. I was passing through security in the airport and a passenger had a knife in their bag. Before the passenger was questioned, the security told the passenger what to respond so she won’t get into trouble. Everything was said in their own language. This immigrant working as as security had no loyalty to Britain. You need more than 10 generations before employing them in government.

Should we trust politician. Sorry down to Brexit these scunbags should never be trusted again. I never voted leave but now I would there shameful by the way they treated the 17.4 m remain voters should be careful I am Scottish and what if we had an other referendum for Scotland to be independent and the SNP win.god help us if that ever happened. And Westminster just said no Scotland didn't know what they voted for and did the same.they would be out rage The leave win simple as that that stupid women with the red jumper doesn't she know how weak the UK would look in the eyes of the EU and the rest of the world.if remain win this we would still not be debated this. The political back stabbing traits have done the work of the EU as soon as the referendum was in they should only be one side that is the UK side. Our government looking more like a dictatorship from the outside.this dealing is bad for democracy that is not the people that is then acting the way they wanted. The lib Dems did it with labour and as soon as they got into power they stabbed the students in the back. Leave voters should not be split Brexit is simply we leave fully the EU should have no running of our country in anyway. They have treated the UK like it's 1940s we had million's die so we would no be controlled by Germany or any other countries.youbmay say that has nothing to do with it. It's easy to say when it's not your freedom of speech or any other freedom. As there is no such thing as freedom of speech or free things someone pay's the price in blood or cash. Labour is not a working class party the working class has no party at this time. People of Scotland why would you want to break up the UK but stay in the EU. It doesn't make sense is antie English simple as thyi am ashamed by some of my fellow scots Scotland is finished if we break up the UK. And Corbin and Jews are you kiddyhe stands on stageiand call people friends that are trying to wipe isrealy off the map. I will move if labour comes in and I will go abroad if the SNP get there way. We will end up like Greece under them.

Remainiacs have destroyed the democratic back bone of the UK, so Boris Johnson’s deal is a starting point for leaving the EU. Once we stop paying them money the EU will start to implode. The UK would have had a head start over other EU members who will try to leave

@Emperor Picard Please research into why those people were in poverty in the first place due to 9 years of a money grabbing government resulting in near-enough complete austerity. Wait until they privatise the NHS, wait until it's THAT underfunded and understaffed that you'll die unless you pay for private or end up in thousands in debt. You see what's really funny about people like you is that you think you know it all. You're the kind of person that walks past a homeless person and gets disgusted. You're the kind of person that believes you're better than another due to sociological classes. You're the kind of person that will vote us into complete dissection and separation where there will be no middle class , all because you cannot swallow your pride and admit we've failed as a country and then blame the opposition. But carry on getting your research. Wake up and vote for human beings, not for people that have never acted as such.
Emperor Picard 18 days ago
@Swurvin Creations I'm sure austerity did hit a lot of people very hard, so did the credit crunch. Its a little bit like saying, My family borrowed money from the bank, the bank wants its money back, now my kids are complaining that they can't have a PlayStation What the hell did you expect to happen? We outspent our means, and the piper came calling, this is what happens when you spend recklessly. And btw, it will happen again, because the fundamental cause has not been fixed. But that's a story for another time. Of course there is poverty out there, you want to know how to fix that, by allowing these people to work. You do that through the free market. You certainly don't do it by giving them benefits. If you want to know why, let me give you an ancient Chinese proverb Give a man a fish, feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, feed him for a lifetime. This shit has been known for 1000's of years, yet people still make the same mistake. YOU CAN'T SPEND YOUR WAY OUT OF POVERTY! It never truly works, it only delays the problem. There are people that can do it better, people who believe in freedom. If you give people the freedom to make wealth, they will find a way to do so. Almost by magic. If you want proof, look at Africa, 70 years of charity and foreign aid in the trillions and it hasn't helped. However now there are some African nations such as Ethiopia that have opened up their market and deregulated for the first time and its doing wonders, they now have an 8.5% GDP growth rate. Why, because people aren't stupid! They are amazing and resourceful and wonderful and can archive some incredible things IF YOU LET THEM. People don't need a Shepard, they are not sheep. Oh an finally I will leave you with this: One million people, taken out of poverty since the Tories came into power.
Swurvin Creations 18 days ago
@Emperor Picard Austerity hit hard to a lot of public services, pensions etc There is poverty out there, food banks and people living day to day so if it's not the tories fault, then who? They have been in power this long, they basically pushed brexit while destroying their own party in the process through division. Their whole track record has been fucked and to just say that no one else can do it better is also incorrect.
Emperor Picard 18 days ago
@Swurvin Creations However, the claim that the Tories made people less wealthy is just factually incorrect.
Emperor Picard 18 days ago
@Swurvin Creations Just to clarify, I'm not a Tory, They do some pretty shitty things too, like their backdoor into encryption crap and they awful porn ban. I just think of them as the lesser of two evils. Labor sucks balls, Tories at the very least believe in economic freedom, even if they don't believe in social freedom as much ( although they are not as bad at that as they used to be). I base my policy not on tax per say. But on freedom. I just like the ability to choose who I give my money too. Because of said more economic freedom, people have in general gotten wealthier over the last few years. Which is why I also believe in brexit. Yes the Tories suck, labor sucks balls, and the EU suck dog shit. With Brexit, I only have to contend with sucking and balls and can finally leave the dog shit behind.

This is why I am Voting the BREXIT PARTY at the ballot box. If it quack, walk and talk like a duck then it is a duck. The Tories are the Agents of the EUROPEAN UNION. What is not yet very clear is why? The Tory may have just but a few Brexiteers but the TORY PARTY is a REMAIN PARTY -FULL STOP. It CONSTITUTION does not support a Clean Break Brexit. The CONSERVATIVE PARTY GOVERNMENT is the Original Advocates For the EUROPEAN UNION PROJECT. Edward Heath 1972 (Conservative Prime Minister) Lied us into the EUROPEAN UNION PROJECT claiming that NO SOVEREIGNTY OF IMPORTANCE WILL BE LOST. Reality Check: The Treaty restricts UK sovereignty by preventing us taking ‘any action likely to conflict with or impede’ EU foreign policy (Article 129.6) – despite having no say in policy making. The UK will be signed up to all EU treaties, including new ones, throughout the transition period, and must ‘refrain… from any action… which is likely to be prejudicial’ to EU interests within international organisations such as the United Nations Security Council and the WTO (Art 129 points 1 and 3). Theresa May 2017 (Conservative Prime) Minister) Country voted to Leave. Yet the CONSERVATIVES elected a REMAINER instead of a BREXITEER to deliver BREXIT (in name only). Theresa May Lied about Leave, focus on Realignment to the EUROPEAN UNION and Was offered a CANADA PLUS DEAL by Donald Tusk from the very beginning -yet rejected it. (Emphasis Added) Tried to make the UNITED KINGDOM a VASSALAGE MEMBERSTATE with the TRIPLE LOCK BACKSTOP in Northern Ireland. 95% of Theresa May's TREATY still remains in Boris amended TREATY. Reality Check: During the Withdrawal Agreement’s extendable ‘transition period’ (which lasts until at least the end of 2020 and almost certainly years longer), we won’t withdraw from the EU at all but become non-voting members. We will still be trapped in the EU customs union and single market, subject to all existing EU laws and any punitive new ones they might pass (Articles 4.1, 4.2, 6, 41, 95.1, 127). And we’ll be under the jurisdiction of the European Court of Justice (ECJ) (Arts 4.4, 4.5, 86, 87, 89, 95.3, 131, 158, 163). The difference is we won’t have any say (Arts 7.1, 34). EU law applies to the UK during the transition period (WA, Article 127), and beyond that the Political Declaration obliges the UK to adopt EU rules on state aid rules and ‘relevant tax matters’ (PD, para 77). This all means we can’t change tax rates to be more competitive and can’t assist a strategic industry such as British Steel. Repealing the EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES ACT 1972, which Ted Heath signed will end all future EUROPEAN UNION LAW INFLUENCE by closing the Conduit pipe of which authority flows -yet TORIES WANTS TO SIGN UP TO A NEW Conduit pipe when the old one is closed -Why? (Emphasis Added) The problems won’t end with the transition period. Article 184 of the Withdrawal Agreement requires us to use ‘best endeavours, same as the PRINCIPLE OF SUBSIDIARITY OR LEVEL PLAYING FIELD,, in good faith’ to negotiate a future deal in line with the PD. Any breach of this duty will see the EU haul Britain before an arbitration panel – half EU appointees, half pro-EU judges from the UK. (Emphasis Added) And the panel must defer to the European court on anything concerning EU Law. If they rule that a UK law goes against the Political Declaration, UK courts will have to overturn that law (WA, Articles 170-175). The Political Declaration is a trap from which there is no plausible escape. Boris Johnson 2019 (Conservative Prime Minister) Voted for Theresa May's Vassalage TREATY the third time round (in spite he himself calling it Vassalage Slave TREATY and rejecting it twice) when Theresa May promised him she would step down. Boris Johnson voted for a Vassalage TREATY just so he could get the opportunity to be next Prime Minister -putting his own interest above Country. Now he wants to push the same vassalage TREATY (5% less than Theresa May =95% same) with replacing the BACKSTOP with a FRONTSTOP and call it Brexit. Reality Check: The Treaty commits us to pay a sum to be decided by the EU (WA, Part Five). The £39bn payment demanded is likely to be just the start, with billions more to follow. The Treaty creates a de facto customs and regulatory border in the Irish Sea between Northern Ireland and Britain. Goods moving between NI and Britain will be checked. Citizens living in NI would effectively be staying in the EU, without any say in their laws, for at least four years after the transition and quite possibly forever. Northern Ireland WILL HAVE TO FILL IN FORMS TO 'export goods' INTO THE UNITED KINGDOM) LIKE SOME FOREIGN COUNTRY. That seems like Northern Ireland has been given a foreign Country status under Boris TREATY. (Emphasis Added) In other words, the UK gives up part of its sovereign territory —for what? (“Backstop” Protocol Articles 5 and 6.2). And another thing. PRINCIPLE OF SUBSIDIARITY = BEST OF ENDEAVOURS = LEVEL PLAYING FIELD with the same enforceable impact and obligations. Only this time no Exit Clause = Vassalage Relationship with the EUROPEAN UNION. Now why would I ever want that?
