Yesterday I did literally nothing but teach my dog how to sit at the table and eat treats with good manners. My 20-year-old sister told me to, and we thought it would be hilarious. It was. INSTAGRAM:
Today, we're back for the second installment of teaching my dog stupid stuff. This time, I'm teaching Max how to play Minecraft. Yes, you heard me. I'm teaching my dog to play the greatest game in history. INSTAGRAM:
After posting yesterday's video to PewDiePie's Subreddit and tripling my subscribers in 24 hours (WHAT) I'm back for another video with my dog Max. Again, we're playing Minecraft but this time, we're on a mission: get my dog to tame a dog in Minecraft. INSTAGRAM:
After literally hundreds of requests for my dog Max to have a crack at defeating the Ender Dragon - Minecraft's final boss - we're back, the keyboard is back, and we're rearing to go. INSTAGRAM:
I've been wanting to do this for a very long time - ever since I saw an author named Meredith McCardle do the exact same thing a few years back all over the internet (obviously I got the idea from her, so full credit where it's due!) THIS WAS NOT MY GENIUS IT WAS HERS SO PLEASE CHECK HER STUFF OUT. Meredith McCardle: Her Wall (which looks FAR better than mine): For the past two weeks, I've been working round the clock to paint the first page from the Harry Potter series on my wall. And yes, I can confirm I am a full on Harry Potter nerd. INSTAGRAM:
Last month I did all of Matt D'Avella's 30 day challenges at once. Cold showers, waking up at 5:00am, no sugar, and meditation. The works. INSTAGRAM: Retrospectively I can say it was an awesome learning experience and challenge - especially when it came to the cold showers and meditation. Having done early wake ups and no sugar challenges before, I found those to be slightly easier, although they didn't come without their ups and downs too! Shout out to Matt D'Avella for being an awesome creator and storyteller - you've inspired me to strive for more engaging, cinematic, and narrative-focused work (I'll get there some day!).
For a period of just over 3 months, I decided I would set up a singular gig on Fiverr - a highly popular online market place for freelancers. Over that period of time, we had our fair share of ups and downs, and without a doubt learned A LOT. INSTAGRAM: Awesome video I got the Casey Neistat clip from: Casey's Channel:
I decided to let my Amazon Alexa control everything I did for a day. From running up craters in the pitch black, to walking all the way around the house to use another door, let's just say the day was. Unconventional. Also I hate oranges now. INSTAGRAM:
I purchased a Minecraft account way back in 2011. Here I am in 2019 playing on a solo world for the first time in about 5 years. They have definitely added a lot of features since I last played survival mode. I found that out the hard way. INSTAGRAM:
Last year I went vegan for the entire year. No meat, eggs, dairy, nothing. Here's what happened. INSTAGRAM: On the whole, I really enjoyed being vegan for the year. It was a very interesting and eye-opening challenge, especially in the last six months or so. It definitely had its ups and downs, but it was something I had never tried before, and that made it quite fun. If you or anyone you know is thinking of changing their diet (regardless of how long or what type of diet it is), please make sure you do your research! Perhaps my biggest mistake was going from omnivore one day to vegan the next with no knowledge of the diet. Make sure you take it slow, and take the time to learn about whatever diet you're thinking of tackling. Also for those wondering, I didn't have an exact amount of time I was going to try going vegan (I just wanted to try it for as long as I could), it was just a fluke it ended up being around a year!
I set out to run 10km everyday for an entire year. Turns out that's a lot. Here's how it went down. JOIN THE ARMY: INSTAGRAM: Cut and Run, Hitman, Fretless, Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0 License
Mo Farah is a four time Olympic running champion in the 5,000 and 10,000 meter track events. He runs well over 100 miles every week. Today, I thought I would try and follow Mo's daily routine. 16 mile runs, ice baths, black coffee - the works. Here's how it went down. INSTAGRAM: Footage of Mo: Sources for the routine:
After having my girlfriend try my daily routine a few months back, she thought it was only fair that today I did everything she does in a day. With her routine consisting of everything from sleeping for 10 hours to travelling to university to study, I can safely say I will never be doing this again. Btw I know this one was super short, I'll make up for it in the next video!
PewDiePie's highly popular LWIAY is an internet series in which PewDiePie himself reviews meme submissions from his enormous Subreddit of two million members. One day, I decided that I wanted to make it to the top of that Subreddit. I'd never made a meme before, nor had I ever used Reddit - but one thing was for sure: I was gonna make it to the top. INSTAGRAM:
Today I take Instagram posts from The Rock, David Dobrik, and Will Smith, and turn them into masterpieces on Adobe Photoshop. Kind of. Okay not really. Okay definitely not but I had way too much fun. INSTAGRAM:
A few months back, I played on a solo Minecraft world in the latest version for the first time in about five years. Surprisingly, some people actually enjoyed the video as much as I enjoyed playing again. This time, I'm back and more confused than ever with a brand new world, and a brand new adventure. INSTAGRAM:
Many years ago, I created a Minecraft survival world with my cousin. Here's a world tour which encapsulates over 100,000 MINUTES of combined gameplay. Over the course of this world tour and nostalgia journey, we take a look at our Home Base, some of our colossal farms, a few of our favourite pets, and a whole lot more. INSTAGRAM: If you want to learn more about LontyLan and how weird we are, click through to the Wiki I made for it:
Over the last 1,000 runs I have been on, I've ended up journeying almost 8,000km of total distance, 750 hours of training time, and 10 Mount Everest's worth of climb. The past 3 years I have probably run more than the rest of my life combined. Doubled. Then tripled. Probably. INSTAGRAM:
Over the past 100 days, I set out to make as much money as I could through a business model called dropshipping (on Shopify). Here's how it went down. INSTAGRAM: For those of you who don't know what dropshipping is, it's an E-commerce business (usually run through Shopify) which is entirely outsourced - you promote the product on your website and the rest is done by a third party. In other words, it can be a pretty epic way to start an E-commerce business without a huge upfront investment. Shopify apps I used on my site: A pretty awesome dropshipping channel:
Today I revisit a long lost dream of successfully solving the Rubik's cube blindfolded. We certainly had our fair share of ups and downs. To say the least. INSTAGRAM:
Yes, my friends. We did it. Getting your dog to kill the Wither Boss in Minecraft is hard, ladies and gents. Very hard. Y'all have been asking for this non stop since Max killed the Ender Dragon, so here it is lads. INSTAGRAM:
My girlfriend tried to do my daily routine - everything from waking up at 5:30am to a freezing cold shower in the evening. INSTAGRAM: 5:30am: Wake up 5:30am-7:30am: Work 7:30am-8am: Breakfast, get changed, brush teeth, etc. 8am-10am: Work 10am-10:15am: Snack 10:15am-12pm: Work 12pm-1pm: Lunch, green smoothie, relax, watch YouTube, etc. 1pm-3pm: Work 3pm-3:15pm: Snack 4:30pm-6:30pm: Run, work out, shower 6:30pm-7pm: Dinner 7pm-9pm: Work 9pm-9:20pm: Meditate 9:20pm-10:20pm: Figure out tomorrow’s work (video plans, etc.) 10:20pm-11pm: Read, watch YouTube, etc. 11pm: Sleep
Today I decided to take the camera around with me for an entire day. When I say around I mean around home because I literally spent almost the entire day with my dog. That news story I said was gonna be here: INSTAGRAM:
Gordon Ramsay recently released a video titled Gordon Ramsay’s 10 Millionth Subscriber Burger Recipe with Sean Evans. The burger looked epic. Also kinda hard to make. Here's my attempt at replicating this masterpiece. INSTAGRAM: Gordon's Video: Gordon's Recipe:
Given that Bob Ross is possibly my favourite human of all time, I decided that it was time to have a crack at one of his tutorials from The Joy of Painting - only with a Liam Thompson twist. This video is the peak of my existence. INSTAGRAM: Bob Ross tutorial I followed:
A few months ago, I learned the basics of a branch of Artificial Intelligence called Deep Learning. Instead of doing something epic with my newfound knowledge, I decided that I would do something really stupid: let the artificial intelligence create my daily routine - one which makes literally zero sense (perfect). And yes, I got sunburned on the weekend. INSTAGRAM:
Over the past two days, I decided to construct and sleep in a house made entirely of cardboard. Not the really modern cool type of cardboard they have at music festivals and stuff - literally just cardboard. INSTAGRAM:
Today we're back on Adobe Photoshop for another crack at upgrading celebrities' Instagram posts. I promise this is the last one I just have way too much fun doing them. Today's victims are Tom Holland, Charlie Puth, and Zac Efron. I apologize in advance. INSTAGRAM:
On the surface, my room usually looks okay. In reality it's kinda meh. Cluttered. I keep too much stuff. Respectable but not epic. Over the past four days, I set out to change that. INSTAGRAM: Decluttering Tutorial:
For the second cooking video on the channel, I'm joined back in the kitchen by my good friend Connor to have a crack at trying to bake a cake. Blindfolded. INSTAGRAM:
To help myself get into the Halloween spirit, I decided that today I would only eat foods containing pumpkin. I also tried carving a pumpkin for the first time. Neither went well. Happy Halloween ladies and gents. INSTAGRAM:
Today, I spend the entire day learning to toss pizza. Turns out tossing pizza dough is hard. Or I'm uncoordinated. Or both. INSTAGRAM:
When I was in high school, if I had free time you can bet it was spent doing multiplayer Minecraft games. These days, not so much. That is, until today. INSTAGRAM:
Over the past few years I've made some very good (and some very bad) purchases of $100 or less. In this video I discuss them. Just the good ones. INSTAGRAM: Echo Dot: Fire TV Stick: Yeelight: Blue Microphone: Nike Slides: Backpack Pro: 1 Million: couldn't find a good one on Amazon but look at any good pharmacy! Minecraft: Adobe Creative Cloud: check with your school, university, or work! Nike Sweatpants: (I don't think they sell the exact pair anymore, but here's something very close) Tim Ferriss: (all his stuff is here) All of the prices are pretty rough and in USD.
Today we return to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida for an EPIC day at Animal Kingdom. We went on an African safari, turned into an Avatar, heard a parrot sing, and a whole lot more! What a day eh lads. INSTAGRAM: Tomorrow we go to Disney's Hollywood Studios to try out the new Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge land, so make sure you tune in!
These days, being cool can be expensive - but do not fret! Today I've come to show you how you can be really cool and popular for only about $1.60. INSTAGRAM:
Today, we travel all the way from New Zealand to Disney's All Star Music Resort in Orlando, Florida. It took over 24 hours of travelling to get there. We arrived at 2am. INSTAGRAM: Tomorrow we go to Disney's Epcot for an EPIC day of theme-parking. Stay tuned!
I've been on YouTube since May 2009. That's more than 10 years, and I was 9 years old back then. Fortunately for you, that means there were hundreds of videos of pure cringe just waiting to be compiled into an epic congregation of both cringe, and the times where I was maybe even a bit funny (usually for the wrong reasons, but it's the thought that counts). IF YOU ONLY CARE ABOUT HARRY POTTER WORLD SKIP TO 2:55! On day 6 of the Orlando, Florida vlogs we journeyed out to Disney Springs for a quick shop, before heading to our Universal resort! Then we hit up IHOP for a noice meal. Day 7 the real deal BEGINS. 'Twas our first day in the beloved Wizarding World of Harry Potter (among other epic Universal Orlando lands!). We tasted some good ol' butterbeer, tried out Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure for the first time (SPOILER IT'S INSANE), and watched an awesome Hogwarts light and fireworks show! INSTAGRAM: Tomorrow we're back at Universal but this time we're gonna stay mainly in Universal Studios. Much more epicness to come STAY TUNED.
In today's double vlog, we head back out to Universal Orlando and the esteemed Wizarding World of Harry Potter to tackle just about everything at the park. We also head into Krustyland and the rest of Universal Studios to try everything non-Harry Potter out. Don't worry though, there's a lot of Harry Potter. A lot. We also eat at Hogsmeade's themed restaurant The Three Broomsticks. INSTAGRAM: Tomorrow we're back for our final day at Disney with two parks in one day! It's gonna be a cracker, so stay tuned.
Today we ventured out to Disney's Epcot theme park for our first day of theme-parking in Orlando, Florida. It was one of the most epic days ever - we tried everything from the super speedy like Test Track and Mission: SPACE, to soda's from around the globe! INSTAGRAM: Tune in tomorrow for another legendary day of theme-parking (it's gonna be a good one I promise).
In day 3 of the Disney World vlogs, we ventured out to Disney's Magic Kingdom park for another legendary day of theme-parking. Along the way, we did all of the classics: Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, and a whole lot more! We also went for an insanely large and delicious breakfast buffet at Chef Mickey's - there definitely wasn't a shortage of waffle and pancake consumption! INSTAGRAM: Tune in tomorrow for more epicness at Disney's Animal Kingdom. It's gonna be a beauty!
Today we venture out to Disney World's Hollywood Studios for day 5 of our theme-parking trip to Orlando, Florida. Along the way, we discover the brand new land of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge! It was epic. Of course, we also tried everything else on offer at Hollywood Studios - from the Indiana Jones stunt show to Toy Story Land, we tried it all. INSTAGRAM: Day 6 we take a much needed rest day to go and explore Disney's colossal shopping centre Disney Springs!
Welcome to the final video of the Florida vlogs ladies and gents! Day 11 was our last full day at Universal, so you can bet there was a lot of Harry Potter World action. We were lucky enough to eat dinner at The Three Broomsticks again, have a few too many butterbeers, and watch the Hogwarts lights show! Day 12 was a sad day. Time to head home. Luckily we could hold onto the fact that we had a half day at Universal to squeeze in as much Harry Potter World as we could! We managed to head out for one last joy ride on Hagrid's Motorbike, have an epic breakfast at the Leaky Cauldron, and MORE BUTTERBEER. INSTAGRAM: Thank you all so much for tagging along on these vlogs, it's been an epic time and you can bet that I'll be back some time soon. ALSO THANKS FOR 100 SUBS GUYS YOU'RE EPIC!
On our tenth day of the Orlando, Florida vlogs, we finally get to travel back to Disney World for one last hurrah! We decided (after much debate) to revisit Animal Kingdom for the morning and Magic Kingdom for the evening. Great choice. 10/10. INSTAGRAM: Tomorrow is our final full day in Florida :( so make sure to join us for an epic day at Universal Orlando (HARRY POTTER WORLD INCOMING WOOHOO).
